Church History
New Life Christian Fellowship was formed by bringing together two Vista Del Mar Baptist Church (VDM).
In the spring of 2007, a committee of 7 members was formed… 3 members of each congregation plus Pastor Jonathan Markham, who was senior pastor GBF and interim pastor of VDM. Their mission? To determine if it was the will of God for a new church to be born from the joining of GBF and VDM. At the first meeting of this group in March, the idea was greeted with unanimous enthusiasm. Immediately the process began in earnest to outline the path and procedure necessary to form this new church.
On Sunday, September 16, 2007, New Life Christian Fellowship emerged as a new community of faith with a powerful sense of call from God to share the good news of Jesus and serve the community Pacifica, the Coastside, the San Francisco Bay Area, and beyond.
NEW LIFE MISSION
Our Vision
We exist to encourage people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
We want to be a church that is known in Pacifica. We love our community. We seek to make a difference by serving in any way we can. We are Sent and Sending Others to Be Disciples and Make Disciples Everywhere we go!
We even look at every opportunity to go and serve in other parts of the world. New Life church members are always particularly concerned about reaching out to the most vulnerable.
What We Believe
We are called to “go into all the world” and share the good news of Jesus.
