The Critical Journey

Our Christian forefathers have been attempting to map the journey of faith for generations. It is through this journey that each disciple of Jesus becomes transformed into the likeness of Jesus. There are several different frameworks that try to map this spiritual journey. One such map is called “The Critical Journey of Faith” researched and described by Janet O Hagberg and Robert A. Guelich out of Fuller Theological Seminary in their book The Critical Journey.

The purpose of this map is two fold: Locate yourself in the journey and locate others.

To what end? So you can recognize where God has journeyed with you. Also when you locate yourself in the journey, you can better understand what God’s invitations are here and why you might feel stuck.

When you locate where others are on the journey, you’ll be able to love others well.

This series builds upon the groundwork laid out on our previous series on discipleship to Jesus
